Welcome to the Argonaut Junior Mustangs website
The Argonaut Junior Mustangs (AJM) are part of The Motherlode Valley Football League (MVFL).  The MVFL is a Volunteer Organization created to serve the families of small towns in the California Central Valley & Surrounding Foothills.  The MVFL promotes youth football and cheer with the intent of providing a competitive and organized program for student athletes between the ages of 7-14. Our league strives to give these youth the opportunity to play football and cheer in a controlled environment with an emphasis on safety, sportsmanship and teamwork.  for more information about the MVFL, click here.

ATTENTION AJM FOOTBALL & CHEER
We will meet at Ione Jr. High at 10am and then stage/set up at the Methodist Church.
If you are not walking in the parade, you can set up chairs on Main Street in Ione.

Practices are from 6pm to 8pm at the Argonaut HS Football Parking Lot (located on the South Side of the school off Stony Creek Rd.) Check the Schedule for days. coaches will tell you what you need to wear. Always bring water and energy!

If you are going to be absent from a practice or game,
you must contact your head coach.

Equipment
Contact your head coach if you have any problems with the equipment you received
conditioning/practice 
All levels for football and cheer will meet from
6:00pm to 8:00pm
Argonaut HS middle field (Athletic Fields Parking above football fields)
football players wear full practice gear unless told otherwise by your coaches
Cheer look at the schedule and wear appropriate attire, sports bra and spankies
bring water and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate...all day
